MMS updates

Software

I have almost finished support for MMS updates to my journal! The parsing code works brilliantly and I just have to add a proper scheduled routine to actually insert the picture(s) and message as a journal entry and possibly integrate it all with my photography page.

Hopefully I'll have it all figured out before all my gigs in the near future!

Apologies for being such a geek lately but I like showing off cool technology!

Didn't leave Paddy, oops. Didn't win either. Almost had three lines across near the end but some lucky bastard nicked my free drinks while number 52 was still wide open on my bingo card. Better luck next time!

Didn't stay for the actual game that has the jackpot, 4am would be way too late. There, I have at least a tiny bit of responsibility in me. Good night, this fella is going away to dreamland now.

What a wonderful world it is that we live in when in one or two generations calling someone a bastard is no longer an insult but a safe assumption:

With so many bastards around, no wonder Kenny gets killed so often.

New haircut coming up

Just rang Kinki: I will get a new haircut on Saturday. The past year and a half I've gone from short black and red hair to medium black and magenta hair to.. longer black and magenta hair to.. long black and magenta hair. Therefore it is not entirely unlikely that I will go for.. even longer black and magenta hair! Surprise, surprise. But I do really like how the last haircut worked out even though right now my hair has the length and curly waves where it looks okay for two weeks and then crap for another three weeks.

Anyway, the new cut should not be too much of an emo look even though sometimes that's the most simple effect to create in the morning. But a bit more extreme would be nice, or at least the option to go beyond emo when I feel like it.

Maybe something radically different would be nice though.. comments or suggestions anyone?

Back in TechnoRati (I think)

I have added my journal to TechnoRati once again and am currently testing update pings. This might very well attract more readers to the site, especially because I will post more live updates on topics that might interest people such as the latest football scores and rock gigs. Cell phones with Internet access rule.

Excuse me? Sure, I might be a hearty snack, but I'm delicious! Of course Samantha actually meant capers (capparis spinosa), which aren't too bad in my opinion when you put them on a bagel with salmon and cream cheese. But what a sentence.. I love Canadians who can't spell properly.

I was eating it with Arden, and I found one and didn't know what it was and we made fun of the little Kaper for a while. And I squished it and all this juicy stuff came out.

Seriously. Despite the "little" remark this just cracks me up.

First half: PSV were better and should have converted at least one chance into a goal. Second half: Lyon were the better team and scored a goal because the otherwise reliable Gomes completely missed a stoppable free kick. PSV were ur against ten after a red card for the last ten minutes but Kone missed am incredible chance.

Hate to say it but I don't see PSV recover in France. Shite!

Benfica 1 - Liverpool FC 0

And is if the night weren't bad enough, Liverpool also lost. They weren't exactly great and I have been focusing on the PSV game but it's still a big shame.

I guess I'll get drunk by sadness instead of happiness then. Pimmez says hi again. For the sake of Dutch football I hope his Ajax wins tomorrow.

Almost forgot but at least one English team had a decent result tonight. It's not like I care much about the Gunners but they're a London site so three cheers for their win anyway!

It's still a shite Champions League night though. Still can't believe PSV unnecessarily lost a home match because of a goalkeeper blunder. Shite night and still not drunk enough not to care.
