Note to self - upcoming gigs

No, I'm not talking about the Weezer and Green Day datefest next week, even though my ticket problems have been sorted out. I'm not even talking about the fifth gig that week that I just came across: Towers of London at KOKO Camden on Friday the 17th. Over 18s, woohoo!
And I'm also not talking about the night that might make my 6-gigs-in-a-row trip complete and could ensure I will be absolutely knackered on Monday: Saint Etienne and Annie at KOKO. Damn does Annie look fit or what?!
Anyway, I'm talking about possibly seeing A again, at the Astoria (October 12). It's on a Wednesday though, so I'll have to check with my mates before I buy tickets, queuing on your own is no fun. Unless there's a willing female in the queue who's tired of her boyfriend. Okay, maybe I should go alone and aim for that scenario!
I also wanted to go see at the Brixton (November 3) but once again tickets were sold out before I could get my hands on them, so that's rather unfortunate. On the other hand any money not spent can be used for touring around Europe with HorrorPops this fall, at least it's my plan to see them in a few new countries!

Fair enough, I regularly read the Daily Sun. So seeing more skin than news shouldn't cause a chuckle anymore. Still, I couldn't help but grinning to the thought of "only in the Anglosphere" when I read about this: American gal in the UK sells boobs as ad space on eBay:
Pretty Cat Camp, 25, is offering to paint her chest with a message of the highest bidder's choice.
And she says she will parade the message for a day when she attends the Glastonbury music festival.
Let's hope more lasses embrace this fine idea and then contact me for my gig schedule.

She wants: Hertog ice cream, Toblerone flavour (it's much better than the UK Carte d'Or as it actually contains Toblerone). I want: enough to fill a few novels on erotica and romance but to sum it up.. her.
So obviously I'll do my best at taking her request seriously. I am now looking for a perfect way to ship or deliver a bunch of ice cream from Rotterdam to Herts. In case of personal delivery, we are talking about 10 minutes by tram, 20 by bus, 60 by plane, 30 by lightrail, 15 by tube and 60 by train here.. so a regular ice bag probably will not suffice! I hope to figure out a proper way myself, but if you have any idea on how to make such a shipment or delivery before I amend this entry, then be so kind to post a comment!
(Ah, the things we do for l.. - I'd better not finish that sentence.)
Update: for €100 a UPS Express Box (note to self: read guideline on cooled shipments) can be picked up at 5pm and delivered before 9am in the UK. Add some packs of cooling gel and we should have a working plan, provided that someone will be available to receive the delivery. I guess that removes any option for a surprise action even more than writing about it here. Oh well, I'll need to get me those gel packs first anyway. To be continued.
