Fun with technology

It's 11pm and I'm still at work. But that's not what I'll moan about.
I've been trying to get a standing ticket for Kerrang XXV at the Brixton Academy in London, a show that is completely sold out. Solution: eBay! Paying twice the face value sucks, but I have never seen Bullet For My Valentine live yet, need to exchange presents with and cancelled a skiing trip that week to see another show anyway, one I can't make because it is midweeks and I'm saving days off. Oh, and maybe I'd just very much like to see again.
Filled with optimism, I tried to pay for the tickets with . But I forgot my password. Oops. No problem, I know my security questions so they can e-mail it. To an old address I no longer have access to. Oops. No problem, they can send it over by phone. To old numbers I no longer have access to. Oops. I swear I'm not making this up.
But despite my frustration over tight security, I have to hand it to them: I was pleasantly surprised to see a US Mail option. I'm quite sure it won't arrive until tickets (and flights or hotel rooms) are ten times more expensive, or the gig is over, but at least I'll be able to access PayPal again at some point.
