KDE and politics?

KDE 3.5 Beta 1: "Kanzler". KDE 3.5 Beta 2: "Koalition". Open and public opposition to EU Directive COD/2002/0047 on software patents, including a petition sent to MEPs. Sponsorship of a petition on the subject to the European Parliament and European Commission.
It's a good thing KDE doesn't get involved in politics.
