Let's negotiate with terrorists

If you've played Sid Meyer's Alpha Centauri, you might recall tree-crazy Deirdre. Princess Irene of the Netherlands actually does talk to trees, and now offers a solution for global terrorism:
The conflict between Al Qaeda and the West should be solved by peace negotiations under the auspices of an independent mediator, says Dutch princess Irene van Lippe-Biesterfeld.
Wonderful idea. We should have thought of that on September 12, 2001: just bend over to the caliphate and everything will be fine. Dutch royalty really needs to learn to shut the fuck up.
