Life in London

Normally I don't go on-line during my trips, but Rach sent me a picture message and I don't have my UK number set up properly to receive those. So I had to get me some Internet time before the download link would expire.

So, what's been going on here? Saturday: The Offspring was great, they even played some of the older and lesser known tunes from the Smash era. I well hope Isy enjoyed her birthday.

Sunday: went to Hemel Hempstead to meet up with Steph and did some wicked shopping: new shoes (red fabric Converse, Scottish kilt print), loads of Halloween stuff, a bunch of crisps and the DVD of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Later on I went to the Underworld at Camden Town to see Pedro the Lion. A bit emo, but they're still selling beer down there so I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Today I bought another pair of shoes at Office, a semi-limited edition of green Converse. Quite nice. Footlocker actually had the lime ones I so desire, but only in a 8.5 and 11.5 while my size is 10. Will be queuing for HIM later on, so I probably won't be able to meet up with Jess, but Amanda's coming along so it should be a fun night anyway. Good for her that Hannah cancelled.

Anyway, I'm running out of time here and I bet the average reader is quite fed up with my musings on girls and shoes. I'll be back Tuesday night. So long and thanks for all the crisps!
