Pre-order 'Bring it on'

HorrorPops

While you can pre-order HorrorPops' Bring It On at American CD Universe for just $9.79 ($16.78 including shipping to Europe), European retailer CD-On asks €17.95 (plus €3.95 freight costs). Decide for yourself where to get it..

(And whether European taxation drives business away.)

The album should be in stores and deliveries on September 13th.

New feature - mates-only journal entries

Software

The past few months, this journal was only capable of two "access levels": private and public. In the meanwhile, all the other blog software varieties around the world were capable of much more. But not anymore! The access levels I have defined for my poetry are now also valid for my journal entries, so I can post personal entries only mates can see.

To demonstrate the feature, I've uncovered an old private entry that should not contain any surprises anyway. Try it out: if you can't see it, you'd better register an account and ask me to add you to my list of mates.

Non-public entries do not appear in the RSS feed or daily journal digest (yet).

Terror plot in Rotterdam foiled

Urbanity

This is interesting: a foiled bomb threat right here in Rotterdam and I have to read about it on the Chinese Xinhua, instead of seeing it in the Rotterdam Daily:

Police arrested three people in Rotterdam on Saturday after an apparent threat to bomb the major Formula 1 event "Monaco aan de de Maas" in the Dutch port city.

I'm kind of glad such threats exist here. Once my family realises shit happens everywhere, they won't have to panic when I wonder around London or Copenhagen anymore. (I believe the Danish are a target, no?)

Oh, someone remind me to get up early tomorrow so I can transfer some pictures from my mobile phone and put them on here! (Pictures of the F1 event, not the bomb threat.)
