Miscellaneous
Everyone who has administered a few boxen for a couple of years will have written some custom shell scripts and other utilities. The most useful ones that I have written are available here, tiny as some might be.
Shell scripts
Most of these scripts have initially been written on and for Slackware Linux and bash, but they should be useful on a variety of installations and configurations: I've used most of them under Debian and FreeBSD as well.
- cleanjoe 1.1 (March 5, 2004)
removes foo~ and DEADJOE files - qmail-rejuvenate 1.0.3 (April 5, 2002)
rejuvenates messages within the qmail queue (useful for secondary mail servers) - portimpact (May 28, 2004)
lists uninstalled dependencies for a FreeBSD port - sw (January 29, 2002)
