Primary tasks were writing and updating PHP code and the development and maintenance of PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, as well as system administration for the hosting machines.
After the summer of 2000 my duties were mostly concentrated on system administration, managing our farm of Linux servers in cooperation with the administrators of our Windows 2000 web servers.
