Don we now our gay apparel

Urbanity

It's that time of the year again. London dresses itself in lights, presents, gift wraps and thousands of locals and tourists shopping for expensive Christmas gifts. I will actually make an appearance on Oxford St myself the 13th and 14th during the UK leg of my HorrorPops gig tour. I quite liked London (don't I always?) near Christmas when I first experienced that feeling last year after seeing Blink-182 play at the Brixton Academy.

And I'm not the only one who's getting all giddy. My favourite urban journal Londonist pokes fun at the Selfridges Christmas window displays:

Description: Lesbians!!!

What does it mean?: Lesbians!!! Leeeesbiaaaans!!!

Does it make us want to shop at Selfridges?: Sweet baby Jesus there are LESBIANS on display right in the middle of Oxford Street!!!

Being a bloke and all that, I prefer bisexual girls, but still.. fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la.
