I don't understand MySpace

I'm going to settle down, have 2.2 children and be the old fart I am: I still don't understand and I don't think I ever will. Supposedly it started as a indie community connecting fans to bands, but all I see are illegible pages with nonsense content. And to get in touch with friends or strangers, the sodding site has no less than IM, mail, groups, blogs, bulletins, forums and profile comments. Confused yet? I am!
I'm going to abandon my profile after I fill it with utterless crap to make it look more genuine, farewell. (Deletion would be too much of a "drama queen" act. I really have to keep my cool these days, I'm fairly close to snapping.)

Sorry Rach, Dez, Jelena, Martijn, Pim and everyone else who's been asking: no European dates yet! But I'll keep you all up-to-date and will do my best to ensure the London gig will be on a Friday or Saturday night!
